How to choose
a WPA gearbox

Frame size, ratio and shaft layout determine the correct WP variant for your machine.

Which frame size do I need?

Center distance in millimetres matches the frame number: WPA80 has 80 mm center distance. Use the rating of your motor and required output torque to select the frame, then confirm ratio from the table.

Solid or hollow output?

Solid shaft outputs suit direct coupling. Hollow bore outputs allow the gearbox to sit on the driven shaft. Tell us your shaft diameter and keyway when ordering.

Horizontal or vertical mounting?

WPA and WPS suit horizontal layouts. WPO and WPX variants are built for vertical output shafts. WPDA and WPDS add IEC motor flange inputs in lower or upper positions.
